A selection of jokes

by admin

Just updated my site and in connection with the holiday decided to amuse people here
Uploaded to the internet an exclusive selection of morons. All of these I photographed at work during my working life 🙂
It’s just dusty coolers

And this dust cooler got stuck and the video card got so hot that it melted and fell out

This is a hull tuning

Next, take Steve Jobs away from the monitor (if he’s watching this) so he doesn’t accidentally have a heart attack. It’s a MacBook Air but this supernotebook has one problem. There is no Cyrillic keyboard, so people drew the letters themselves on plain paper and glued

Closer view. Sorry for the quality, nothing better at hand

And this is just some burned out part on the board, but everything works, all the ports and connectors.

This card reader has been through a lot. You can see what we got out of it in the next photo. It reminds me of a booth from an ENT office. What the doctor pulled out of the patients nose/ear/throat, all sorts of bones, screws. And there’s something similar here.

Here you just connect the CD-ROM and the floppy disk drive to the motherboard with one cable.

And here you changed the RAM yourself, but didn’t know that the latches on the slots open.
A selection of jokes
The memory module was lifted a few millimeters in place of the slot, the pins remained in the board

Next in the photo is a self-soldering of the capacitors. Probably it was difficult to put the capacitor in the old holes, so they soldered it this way. But that’s half the trouble.

There seems to be a normal cooler here, but underneath it…

Underneath it all the capacitors were rewired as it were, the new capacitors were large in size so they didn’t fit under the cooler very well. As a result, the cooler was attached very badly, and one of its legs was broken at all.

Another 775 socket cooler. Note that instead of legs it has regular screws

Nuts are also common

Screwed through washers, without any insulation to the motherboard.

When it comes to securing a board, everything goes

Even a screw that doesn’t quite fit

Well this is new hardware. In the case when assembling the computer you have to knock out the plug for the motherboard, sometimes it falls off along with the back cover of the system.

And this is a package from HP. In this case, they went overboard on reliability. Why? Let’s see.
A selection of jokes
Open the package, there are sheets of foam rubber and foam plastic

Inside the box

There’s also foam on the bottom

And in the box, also in foam, are the plumes, really very fragile elements of the computer.
