    RFC: Scalar Type Hints – A vote is in full swing on a proposal for scalar type hints, complete with the ability to specify strict or non-strict type checking.A 2/3 vote is needed for the proposal to pass, and as of now the score is 40 in favor and 23 against.In php.internals continues to debate and arguments are made on both sides.
    Well, in the meantime, the proposer makes PHP predictions for 2015 , and enthusiasts are even registering mock domains : http://BecauseWeCantHaveNiceThings.com
  • RFC: Add cyclic string replacements – It is proposed to expand the capabilities of str_replace() so that the parameter replace is used cyclically.This will allow similar replacements to be made : str_replace("?", array("'Joe'", "'Smith'"), "SELECT * FROM people WHERE first = ? AND last = ?");
  • RFC: Fix "foreach" behavior – Becauseof the strange implementation, the loop foreach behaves unpredictably on rare occasions.It is suggested to change the implementation, which would make the behavior consistent and slightly improve performance.
  • RFC: Group Use Declarations – Proposal for syntax improvement use for namespaces :
    use DoctrineCommonCollectionsExpr{ Comparison, Value, CompositeExpression };
  • RFC: Remove the date.timezonewarning – Every PHP developer has seen a Warning about an unset option date.timezone when working with date functions.It is suggested that you disable this message.
  • RFC: Skipping optional parameters for functions – Voting on an old proposal to add skipping optional parameters using the keyword default in the argument list : foo(1, default, 3);
