"Between November 2015 and March 28, 2016 territorial authorities of Rospotrebnadzor submitted over 250 applications to judicial authorities for the recognition of information on the sale of alcoholic beverages by remote means, posted on Internet sites, prohibited for distribution. As a result, on 114 applications, according to the specified decisions of judicial bodies, 156 sites and pages on the Internet were recognized as forbidden for distribution and subject to closing", – reported on website agencies.

The Investigative Committee of Russia, which proposed the introduction of administrative and criminal liability for the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages on the Web, agrees with the representatives of the department.
