Voltega filament lamps with high color rendering index

by admin

The Voltega True color LED bulbs with a color rendering index of CRI> 97 are now available. I bought two of these bulbs and measured their parameters.
Voltega filament lamps with high color rendering index
In total there are four models of Voltega True color bulbs, all with 7 watts and 540 lumens: "pear" E27 (215 rubles) and "candle" E14 (195 rubles) with two color temperature options 2800K and 4000K. I bought and tested the "warm" bulbs.
Let’s start with the most interesting – color and color rendering parameters.
Voltega filament lamps with high color rendering index
The lamps do have excellent color rendering – CRI(Ra) above 95. My results are slightly below the promised 97, but this may be due to spectrometer error. The R9 pink color rendering index of both lamps is very high, 97-98.
There is practically no light pulsation and the color temperature is close to the stated.
The measured power of the "pear" was 6.29W, the "candle" was 6.43W.
Measured luminous flux of 599 lm and 558 lm respectively, this is even slightly higher than the stated.
The bulbs are capable of replacing 60-watt incandescent bulbs (for those who object that a 60-watt bulb should give 710 lm, let me remind you that a regular bulb at 220 volts gives an average of 530 lm).
As with most filament bulbs, these bulbs use linear drivers. The "pear" brightness drops by 5% when the voltage drops from 230V to 220V, the "candle" brightness drops by 5% when the voltage drops from 230V to 224V. If your mains voltage is undervoltage, these bulbs (like all others with line drivers) should not be used.
With switches that have an indicator light, the bulbs work correctly (do not glow or flash when the switch is off).
These bulbs have a warranty period of 3 years.
I bought these light bulbs at Your House store, and now I found out that they are on Ozone and Wildberries ( pear 2800K , pear 4000K , candle 2800K , candle 4000K ).
Apparently, they are the only filament lamps with CRI(Ra) > 90 in our market.
Recall that the ideal color rendering CRI(Ra) > 99 for sun and incandescent lamps. It is believed that for comfortable household lighting CRI(Ra) should be above 80, but still many cheap light bulbs have a color rendering index of about 70. Lamps with a CRI(Ra) > 95 make the perception of colors as accurate as possible, with a high R9 index the color of human skin will be the most natural.
Lamps with CRI(Ra) > 95 are ideal for household lighting as well as beauty salons and photo studios.
Glad that in our market, saturated with bulbs, made on the principle of "the main thing is the low price, and all the rest does not matter, " began to appear lamps with high quality light, and even honest indication of the parameters. Surprisingly, the price of them almost does not differ from the prices of conventional lamps with a CRI of 80.
